The Scottish Branch had a really great visit to Premier Hydroponics in Broxburn on Sunday 20 March 2016. Those attending were treated to a tour of the grow rooms to see a wide variety of vegetables being growing by different methods including the large onions and pot leeks. The hospitality provided by Gavin and his staff was unbelievable which caused quite few discussions to develop over coffee, sandwiches and cakes - particularly about aeroponic propogation. Premier have been working with the Branch to promote the Society and growing vegetables by alternative methods, including setting up an NVS hub full of helpful literature, membership forms and growing books which they sell on our behalf. The Branch are really grateful for the assistance Gavin and his team are giving to the NVS and look forward to continuing working with them in the future!
