The Northern Branch of the NVS held its Branch Championships as part of the Harrogate Great Autumn Flower Show, run by the North of England Horticultural Society, ( NEHS ) under the directorship of Martin Fish. The quality of the exhibits was again superb, and together with the classes run by the North of England Horticultural Society, which included a new, well supported fruit section for the first time, contributed to a magnificent spectacle in the vegetable halls.
