The Surrey District Association (part of the Southern Branch) was at the recent RHS Taste of Autumn event at Wisley where they ran a 'guess the weight of the marrow' competition.

Southern Branch Judges Exam & Seminar

The venue for the Southern Branch judges exam & seminar will be the village hall, Tarrant Keyneston, Nr Blandford in Dorset. DT11 9JE

The seminar will be held on Saturday 24th Sept starting at 1.00pm with a finish time of approx 4.00pm. This session will cover all aspects of the theory & practical exams. This session is free to all NVS members.

Southern Branch Programme 2011

The Southern Branch programme for 2011 is as follows:

29th March 2011 AGM - Room 33 RHS Halls London starting @ 2pm

14th June Committee Meeting 2011 - Wisley Gdns, this meeting is in the Pavilion starting at 2pm. Members of the committee will be meeting for lunch at 12.30pm at the Anchor Public House, Wisley Village, by the canal.

Three days of beautiful weather, a bumper entry and a marquee full of quality exhibits, welcome to the New Forest Show in Hampshire.

First of all a big thank you to our sponsors the New Forest and Hampshire Show Society without who’s help our show would not be possible. They provide the funding for the prizes, top class accommodation for our judges and the excellent facilities. Also thank you to all the exhibitors who supported our show with a special mention to those of you who made the long trip from Wales and the Midlands.

Southern Branch Judges Seminar & Exams

The Southern Branch Judges Seminar & Exams will be held on Saturday 25th September & Saturday 2nd October at Old Woking Community Centre, Sundridge Rd, Old Woking, GU22 9AT.

The seminar is free. The exam proper costs £10.00 for each section, theory & practical. Timing of exams yet to be arranged.
